On Friday October 15 over 2000 people attended Common Threads Tokyo in the beautiful Kanda Miyojin shrine.
This year high profile international designers from fashion and media will deconstruct, reinvent, revamp and redesign vintage kimonos and second hand denim.
The results will then be offered for auction at three events in three cities; London, Tokyo and Brisbane.
Proceeds raised from the events and auctions will go to partner charities: TRAID London, AAR Tokyo and St Vincent de Paul Brisbane.
